An Event ratio is a mathematical formula using several events. Using event ratios enables you to understand and compare data across several Activity results. You can decide which event ratios to use when configuring the sampling collector for EBS.
From the Configure Sampling dialog box, select the Event Ratios panel.
From the Ratio Groups
pull-down list, select a ratio group.
The list of available event ratios for the selected group, appears
in the Available Ratios field.
Select an event ratio and click v.
The selected event ratio appears in the Selected
Ratios field.
Click the OK button.
Click the Events tab.
From the Selected Events list, select an event that is used to create the event ratio you want to delete.
Click ^ to delete the
event.
All event ratios that require this event are automatically deleted
from the Selected Ratios list
in the Event Ratios tab.
If the predefined event ratios do not provide the information you are looking for, you can create a new event ratio or edit an existing event ratio.
To monitor an event ratio that comprises an event with the modified name, use the Event Ratios Preferences page to create a new ratio with the alias event name.
