Ratios PreferencesThe Event Ratios Preferences dialog box enables you to add and edit available event ratios for the different groups of a Category. Categories include any object that generates event data. This could be an Intel(R) processor or the call graph object that generates event data such as total time and self time.
From the Windows menu, select Preferences....
From the Preferences dialog box, select VTune(TM) Performance Tools>Event Ratios Preferences from the left panel.
From the Categories list, select the object for which you wish to display the event ratio groups and event ratios.
Click the Defaults button to restore the original pre-defined list of event ratio groups that are shipped with the product. You will, however, lose any new event ratio groups you created. You will also lose changes you may have made to an event ratio group.

On selecting a category from the drop-down categories list, the event ratio groups available for the category appear in the Groups field. Select a group to display the available ratios for that group in the Ratios field. |

The event ratios that belong to the selected event ratios group appear in the Ratios field. |
Click the Edit Ratio... button to edit a ratio that you select from the Ratio Groups field.
Click the New Ratio... button to add a new ratio for which you can define the formula. Please note that adding a ratio of your own will not have supporting online help documentation to assist you during troubleshooting. Use this feature with caution.
Select an event ratio in the Ratios field and click Delete Ratio to delete the event ratio from a group.
Select an event ratio group and click Delete Group to remove the event ratio group from a category. All the event ratios associated with the group will also be deleted.
