Tuning toolbar enables controlling the currently running Activity, or configuring the selected Activity. These toolbar commands are also available from the Tuning menu.
Tuning Browser enables running or viewing all the Activities and Activity results in the currently open project.
VTune environment is integrated into the Eclipse platform environment during installation. To invoke Eclipse with the VTune Performance Environment, use the following command line:
$ <install directory>/bin/vtlec
The Select a Workspace dialog box opens, enabling you to select the location where the workspace project files are saved. Choose a location where you have read/write permissions. By default, the workspace is saved in the location from which you invoke the vtlec command line.
