Sort Dialog Box

This Sort... command opens the Sort dialog box, enabling you to sort your data, according to up to four different columns. Sorting your data enables you to focus on the most interesting data.

These are the configuration options available for this dialog box:

Sort By

Configure the primary sort. Select the column to sort by and whether to sort in Ascending or Descending order.

Then By

Configure up to three additional sorts. For each additional sort, in the Then By section, select the column to sort by and whether to sort in Ascending or Descending order.

Sort What

Select the view or pane to sort.

To access this dialog box:

1. Select a view that contains data that can be filtered.

2. From the Tuning menu, select Sort....

3. Click Add New... to create a new filter, or Configure... to configure the selected filter.
