Creating A New Event Ratio Group

You can create a new event ratio group and add existing or new event ratios to the event ratio group you create.

To create a new event ratio group for a category:

1. Go to Windows>Preferences>VTune(TM) Performance Tools>Event Ratios Preferences.
   The Event Ratios Preferencespage opens.

2. Select the category from the Categories drop-down list to which you want to add the new event ratio group.

3. Click New Ratio... or Edit Ratio... to access the New Group... button.
   The option to create a new group is available from either the New Ratio dialog box or the EditingRatio <Event Ratio name> dialog box.

4. From the New Ratio dialog box, or the Edit Ratio <event ratio> dialog box, click the New Group... button.
   The Enter new Ratio Group name dialog box appears.

5. Enter the name of the new event ratio group.

6. Click OK.
   The new event ratio group appears in the Add to Groups list.
